Former VPW Star Captures WWE Gold

VPW - Is 'The UK's Leading Sports Entertainment Company' greatly because of its stars (past, present and future) within the ring.

On Sunday 13th December WWE Star Sheamus beat one of WWE's biggest stars John Cena to become NEW WWE Champion, this prestigious belt has previously been in the hands of ring legends such as The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Immortal Hulk Hogan!

In 2006 Sheamus then known simply as SOS (Sheamus O'Saunessy) was flown over from the Emerald Isle of Ireland by VPW's very own International superstar The UK KID to become his tag team partner on a number of VPW International Superstar Tours including the very 1st International Superstar tour. Sheamus as he is now known had a fuelled tag team rivalary along side The UK KID against Former WWE star an DX Star Billy Gunn and The classic superstar from texas, Spiro.

VPW Online caught up with UK KID to hear his thoughts on SOS's recent success.

"Am I surprised he's now the WWE Champ? of course not, why the hell do you think I brought him to VPW? because I saw what he could become, I gave him his break, I gave him advice, I gave him his 1st shot in front of sold out crowds across the UK and his 1st chance to run with the big guns like Billy Gunn, D'Lo Brown, Al Snow and of course me!

Steve as I call him, phoned me personally thanking me when he signed his WWE contract saying his success wouldnt of happend with out me, (REPEATS) with out ME!! so not only am i not
surprised..... But I also hold my self personally responsible for hand grooming the current WWE Champion Sheamus.
