The Storm Hits VPW - Holte and James
 

Since its creation in 2006 - Varsity Pro Wrestling has been able to present many Superstars to you 'The Valued Fan'.

We have seen many Stars come and go - from the MAD, the BAD right up to the very DANGEROUS . . . none perhaps more so than the Companys' latest acquisitions who seem to tick all 3 of these boxes.

On October 28th 2009, as a packed out Portsmouth Guildhall settled down for an evening of entertainment (as only VPW can provide), proceedings were interrupted by the first of two storm clouds - Rick James (Pictured Right).

After first upsetting the hundreds in attendance with his rather 'frank' views on the City of Portsmouth, followed by a verbal attack on fan favourite 'Jake McCluskey', the storm clouds began to thicken as Rick James introduced the VPW Fans and the main locker-room to a man that he called "The most dangerous man in British Wrestling" - 'Rob Holte'

Holte (Pictured Left) wasted no time in rubber stamping his mark on VPW, by defeating Jake McCluskey with an impressive, powerful and technical performance (along with a rather large assist from Rick James).

This was a win that sent shock waves through the VPW locker-room, and truly cemented Rob Holte and 'Rick James's place on the VPW roster.

Rob Holte seemed to be a man of few words as 'varsityprowrestling.com' tried to get his comments backstage - His icy glare showing nothing but intense concentration. Rick James however was quick to take centre stage once again as he promised more of the same in months ahead.

When asked of his 'relationship' with Rob Holte, Rick James simply stated "We have a business arrangement. I take care of business out of the ring, while the most dangerous man in VPW takes care of business in the ring. That is all you need to know"

What ever the relationship between the seemingly mismatched pair, one thing is for sure - Rob Holte's raw wrestling ability, coupled with Rick James's skills as both a Manager and a Business man, make for a MAD, BAD and most of all 'very dangerous team'
