Wrestling's Vyne return

WORLD class wrestling will be the order of the day tomorrow, when the UK's premier sports entertainment promotion, Varsity Pro Wrestling (VPW), makes its first ever stop at the Vyne Community School.

In a huge coup for the Basingstoke leg of the tour, the globally renowned former WWE superstar Bob "Hardcore" Holly and former Degeneration X member Billy Gunn have been flown in from America and will be locking horns.

At a recent VPW event, the grizzled veteran Holly betrayed popular "Devon Powerhouse" Chris Andrews, and joined forces with "International Superstar", the UK Kid, forming the "Atlantic Alliance". Andrews called on his own resources across the pond, enlisting Gunn to serve as his tag team partner.

This will add some extra spice to a tag match which is the main bout of the evening.

Elsewhere at the event, matches will feature the best of British wrestling talent, with performers such as the exciting and high-flying teenage sensation "Mr. Moonsault" Jake McCluskey and Basingstoke's own Rob Holte.

Last time out Holte defeat McCluskey and will be keen to do the same again on home soil.

The doors open for the evening at 7pm for a 7.30pm opening bell. Ticket will be available at the door, costing £10 for adults and £8 for concessions for what promises to be an unforgettable night of top-notch action.
